The Revolution Diaries part 48

While last week proved to be quite frustrating, this week started off on a positive note. I went to our local library to see if my book display was up yet and there it was, in all its glory. I was impressed with the amount of detail that had gone into the set-up, though I did have to switch Fade: Shadows of the Past and Fire Angel: Igniting the Spark around, as they’d been put in the wrong order. I also had to draw attention to the fact that Family: Portrait: A Fade spin-off was missing from the display. Overall though, it was a great feeling to see my books out there.

The search for a new cover designer is still going on. There’s been a couple that I looked into but they weren’t suitable, so once again back to the drawing board.

Even though the rolling power outages are still ongoing, the times have been switched around making it a little easier to get some work done on the final book of the Scorched Earth trilogy, Scorched Earth: Revolution. Once I’d completed chapter fifty-two which brought the book to sixty-thousand words, I jumped back to finish chapter forty-two. Halfway through the chapter, I realized it’d be better if I switched forty-two with chapter forty-one, which I did before finishing it off. With that done, the first fifty-two chapters of the book were complete with twenty-five chapters remaining. The climactic battle between Earth and the Drahux Empire is about to begin…
